Niger Food Shortage Crisis

Niger, the world’s second poorest nation, is starving to death.  Last season the drought withered crops.  Then for 3 months, swarms of locusts ate any surviving vegetation.   Grain storages are depleted, 40% of the livestock have died, and Niger is in dire need.

Life is challenging even in non-emergency times in this West African country.  Right now 3.6 million people in Niger struggle to survive each day.  Non-profit religious and government organizations are seeking to help with Niger’s plight.  At one "feeding center" a worker reported, "It’s silent here.  The children are too weak to even cry."

EBM missionaries can help YOU get food to desperately hungry Africans.  YOUR donation will pay for grain that EBM will distribute to needy believers as well as give grain to churches in Niamey and surrounding areas to distribute as a means of sharing God’s love.
